💤 Cheyenne puppies day 6: Activated sleep. Ever wonder why puppies (and adult dogs) twitch in their sleep? It’s called activated sleep and it's functional purpose is to develop muscle tone and coordination. Twitching is an indicator that healthy, normal development is occuring.
